Mike Begg ACIBS, MCIBS, ACIFMA, CEMAP (Mortgages Advisor)
Mike joined the Clydesdale Bank in 1980, first becoming a local Branch Manager in 1988 and a business Bank Manager in 1994. Mike brought a wealth of lending and practical business experience that, in a short period of time, has seen Mortgage Healthcare become one of the largest truly independent mortgage brokers in Scotland.Mike says "our success is built on total customer care and the ability to use our knowledge and experience to create the best possible deal for or clients. Clients really appreciate no nonsense advice aimed at improving their finances, much as Banks did before they became purely sales driven organisations focused, it would appear, only on profit"
Mike is a Buy-to-Let specialist and also has in depth experience of both the Spanish and Turkish property markets as provided through our sister company Mortgage Healthcare Overseas Limited.

Danny Gourlay ACIFAMA, CeMAP (Mortgage Advisor)
Danny joined the Clydesdale Bank in 1979. A Personal Banking Manager, he moved to Business Banking in 1995. A co founder of Mortgage Healthcare, Danny also identified the need for old fashioned, no nonsense advice, much as he would have dispensed himself in his banking career. A real 'money man', Danny understands how to make property investment work for his clients and revels in advising them how to make Banks money work for their benefit. Danny is an expert on the Fife and Edinburgh residential property markets. He also has a specialist working knowledge of the Turkish and Spanish property markets. (see our overseas pages)

Gordon Watson ACIBS, MCIBS, CeMAP (Mortgage & Insurance Advisor)
Gordon joined the Clydesdale Bank in 1979 becoming a Branch Manager in 1990, where he held responsibility for the management of several branches in Angus and the Mearns. Always completely client focused, Gordon subsequently moved into the Insurance arm of the Bank reaching senior advisor status prior to joining the Mortgage Healthcare team. Gordon holds an array of qualifications earned over the years in the industry which greatly assists Mortgage Healthcare achieve and attain their customer focus. Gordon is a specialist on the Sub Prime lending market

Craig Oliphant ACIBS, MCIBS, CeMAP (Insurance Advisor)
Craig joined the Clydesdale in 1985 and after many years in personal banking transferred to the Bank's Insurance arm in 1998. He has subsequently worked for Norwich Union and the HBoS group prior to joining Mortgage Healthcare in 2003. Craig says "The real benefit of Mortgage Healthcare in comparison to my other posts is the ability to give clients absolutely Independent advice which we can tailor to therr needs."

Dave Mackie FPC 1, 2, & 3 (Insurance Advisor)
Dave started his Insurance career in 1995 with Co-Op Insurance with whom he worked until joining Mortgage Healthcare in Jan 2006. Dave says "We often find clients Life Insurance requirements have not been adequately addressed by their existing brokers or lenders. Our aim is to address and provide truly Indpendent Insurance cover that fully provides for their needs"

Anne Munro CeMap (Office Manager)
Anne joined the Clydesdale Bank in 1971. Over her Banking career she held many managerial posts culminating in a senior compliance position. Anne joined the Mortgage Healthcare team in 2006

Pauline Strachan (Senior Mortgage Administrator)
Pauline joined the Mortgage Healthcare team in 2001 having worked in the Insurance industry as an administrator from 1991. Pauline for her sins is a committed Dundee United supporter !!

Pauline Brown (Senior Mortgage Administrator)
Pauline joined the Clydesdale Bank in 1974 and had a career in all aspects of personal banking prior to joining our team in 2002. Interestingly Pauline is a Dundee supporter !
